22xxx smooth twist barrel

so ive been tinkering with barrels lately , ive sanded and polished the rifiling in one of the barrels as well as crowning it. i started shooting groups and strings with it and found i got on averge .50 inch at 30 yds, 55fps faster and droped 9 fps off the spread .any one else tried this or use a smooth twist barrel? interested to hear other opinions, cheers
