It's the molding design? If we can see the mold to make the stock, we may easily tell what's it for...

I don't think it is designed that way, but I have definitely thought about putting a small, custom compartment there to hold a few things. Extra pellets would go in, but I know the survivalist nerd in me would also have a mylar blanket, magnesium striker, compass and fishing kit in there within minutes.airmec wrote:Does anyone know the purpose of the notch in the rear of the butt stock on the 2289G?
