Looks like you are well setup for either air or co2! Canadian tire charges $8 to fill a 21oz co2 tank here, air is supposed to be quite a bit cheaper at dive shops but you'd have to call them to find out, as at least co2 prices vary wildly. I've paid over $20 to fill one co2 tank (21oz)! Won't be doing that again, lol.
If you buy the end plug from Canada shooting supply, I'd recommend getting that crosman 1322 port seal that I gave the link for to replace your stock port seal. Also get the barrel and valve orings to have on hand. If you get ambitious enough to take the valve out they may be needed and the barrel orings easily get damaged pulling out the barrel. After taking the barrel out, good idea to get a file and get rid of any burs from the grub screw hole that holds the barrel. That is the usual culprit in wrecking the orings as well as the transfer port hole on the bottom. Probably good idea to take breech right off doing the filing so you don't drop some filings down the transfer port hole[emoji5], and a good time to change the port seal. The valve is good to take out and apart to remove the mesh filter from inside. It will soon fall apart and cause problems anyway. If you want more power, drill some holes in the front of the valve to allow more air to get in quicker. Makes a big difference! I cut some big notches in my front half and it really helped but drilling some holes is easy and works as well. Just make sure the middle of the valve front can still retain the valve spring. There is a metal sleeve in the valve that can also be discarded for more air flow. Hope that helps and doesn't confuse! You can search for qb78 valve mods and find some good pictures showing what I'm talking about. Here is a couple random pictures of two extremes, small holes or cutting most of the front away. The cut one will give the most power[emoji4]. You can do something in between the two of course, my slots aren't as big[emoji4]. Image

These what I found in my basement from time 10+ years when I was taking my boys to paintball games (still have two almost new tippmans I didn't wanted to give away).

Hm, could not place the jpg inside text, anyway, two 12 oz capacity CO2 tanks, and two 48 cu 3000 psi (one PureEnergy CO2 and one Ninja air tanks) with valves and gauge.

To start with I may want to replace the coil to new, during years the material fatique could weaken it internally, I don't want to play with that, aliexpress is a way to go.
One more thing,
In my way from work I have one divers shop, the other about same distance further up North. Not sure how much they would charge to fill the air, or maybe getting a pump is a better way to go?
if your HPA tanks are 10 years as you stated then there way past expiry...you would need to get them re hydro
no place will fill them otherwise....

Yeah, might be worth it to take them and get them rehydroed at a paintball shop and find out what kind of prices they charge. Lots of guys have been buying the Yong heng compressors on aliexpress and ebay and having good luck with them. If you decide to buy one, you'll want to probably get the 110v version and either the hardback, Auto-Stop or adjustable pressure version. The simple version is cheapest but less powerful and doesn't have an oil/water separator. Here is one several guys have bought that I know of. It's the adjustable pressure shutoff version :

I have no problems taking things apart first time I remember I was still wearing diapers :),
I am maintaining my own cars for decades...some parts ocasionally leftover and I was wondering what was a reason to install them anyway if the car can still run :?
I've got a micromill years ago for my archery projects, to add a small lathe that would make my garage really a cozy place...for now I call it my doghouse when a boss start hyper breathing

I am just tinkering now,
why nobody made so far a block, to be attached to the cylinder in the middle somewhere a half length and not at the end cap to make the gun front heavy, but hid below - inside the front stock and route a hose (inside the stock) all the way back to the hand grip bottom face, and mount a quick disconnect there....something similar as the pbg?

I've seen some somewhere on some forum. Good idea! Would you use a gauge block or something to go through the side of the tube and into the block? I think a marauder pistol has a gauge block that is 1/8 npt. You could probably order it from Canada shooting supply or scopesandammo.com or make one yourself if you have a lathe. Sounds like you're handy so all this is just fun anyway [emoji4]

I got the repeater kit from airgundepot (because the archerairguns didn't wanted to ship North of the border), It was kind of tens situation the package was sitting at the import-duty office almost for a week, they could not decide what to do ...gun parts with zero velocity...finally the Fedex deliver it to my door, that cost me arms and legs.
Finally, the 10 pellet magazin is working really nice.
Now researching all over the web what and how to alter the internal parts, Im heading towards hpa, probably will limit the pressure about 1500 psi.
Still could not decide to make the rifle front heavy....I may go with remote tube

I think the fitting was from ackland Grainger and the Asa and one way quick disconnect from AliExpress. New Paintball PCP 8MM Male Quick Head Connection Check Valve One Way Foster Stainless Steel Fill Nipple M10*1
http://s.aliexpress.com/uiAjeaQn
(from AliExpress Android)
(choose 1/8 npt in the options)
Here is a Asa on/off, probably others with 3000psi gauge. One I bought is no longer available.
Here is a good 5000psi mswp fitting along with male to male 1/8 npt :

Actually if you are using a 13ci bottle you'll want these instead to get your fitting far enough down to reach the Asa on/off

You have to choose the 1/8 npt option of course [emoji5]

Thanks for the bill of material
I am tinkering about replacing the entire QB78 nylon stock instead of just cutting it,
but that will be an over winter project...friend of my have a CNC mill (but no lathe), I can design completely new exterior body parts, I like so much the idea how the high end air match rifles hold (at least on pictures ;)) but the taste may change along the time.

Derekvinyard makes reverse blocks I believe for around $100. If I"m wrong hopefully he'll correct me. You could send him a pm. Gipetto is a master artisan as well and sells certain parts. I bought a delrin valve stem valve for my Qb78 and he did a super job. He probably makes these too.
