(possable) 1322 issue

#1 Post by Ausername »

does the 1322 eject gas out the back of the gun? i put the steel breech on the gun, and i did swich out the o-ring with the one that came on the regular bolt, because the steel breech was for the .177 cal. 1377, so the seal won't work with it. Anyway, i don't think that's why it shoots gas out the back, i think it's coming from the hammer area, because you know.... there is a steel bolt in the way. Anyway it still shoots hard, but any extra energy is good.

Did you kept the 1377 bolt? If so, it's possible your bolt is not sealing well, because it's not the right size.

In the picture, 1377 bolt top, 1322 bolt below.

Anther possibility is the transfer port seal is missing or leaking.

In my experience, this is usually a problem with the transfer port. The tiny steel tube that sits between the air chamber and the breech. Try flipping it over.

Agreed

While I worked on changing steel breech for my 1322, after the first job done, I had the same problem. Then I redo the work, removed the port and the seal (which sit on the tube and not going up with the port), carefully put thing back and aligned everything well.... btw, the shorter side of the port going down.

no air leaking any more

Oh, one more thing. To my own experience, after push in the pellet and pull down the bolt handle in lock position, there is a chance that the bolt handle will loose and come up especially you are not shooting right away but moving around with the gun... so I used to use my right thumb to press on the bolt handle, keep it tightly lock then shoot.

If the bolt handle is loosed at the time you shoot, air will 'eject' from there to the back too

Edit ~
But if you don't have shoulder stock for your 1322, it is not a good pose to handle the pistol well ~ [emoji29]
