My modest collection.
I like my IZH61, I almost regret getting the 61 over the 60 however. The 5 round mags are a little funky. Recoil wise, I find it pretty easy to shoot .75" groupings at 10m from a standing position. Pellet choice makes a difference with the 5 round mags, and how well the pellets seat when you cock the rifle. The side cocking makes it really easy to rip off all 5 rounds really fast. I picked one up mainly for the fact that it is a fixed barrel for under $150, and have not regretted buying it. Certainly fun to shoot. I am thinking about making a new stock for mine; as neat as the synthetic one is, its a bit uncomfortable for me. I'm 6'6", which makes it a little small for me. It also flexes a little more than I would like in the rear stock area.
Out of 10, I would give it a 7.

The stock can be extended. Just remove the bottom bolt holding the stock to the tube. There should be another hole about 1-1/4" further back on the aluminum extension.Ace12GA wrote:I like my IZH61, I almost regret getting the 61 over the 60 however. Yes, the stock with the bolt on the bottom is wobbly. Just bad design. The bolt is in an angle and not holding the stock securely. I just drill a hole on the top of the stock, countersink the hole and screw it down with a countersink screw. Now it is nice and sturdy.
The only thing I don't like about my new version IZH61 is the plastic breech. Darn, the gun would be super sweet if it had the metal breech.
