3 feet ?! That's the legendary fly-leg shooting case, and you can also choose the left leg or right leg. ...maybe the middle one ~ but be careful the pellet bounce back into the barrel~

I am looking for a new scope these days too ~ the BugBuster is in my sight!
And I think the 6x32 looks good, although caused by the bigger magnification rate, it has narrower views but I think it won't be more narrow than a 4x20 right? Anyone tried this before?
And I also have a concern that the Bug Busters are compact TAC size scopes (8 inches long vs rifle scope usually at 11 inches). I like this look too as I would like to use it on 2240 carbine. But I am not sure the shortened tube will make reloading difficult or still OK.... for the Crosman steel breech, we can put the scope rings over the breech or completely before the breech (less that 4 inches rail only)... maybe have to use a pairs of higher profile mounts ??
