will a predator polymag .177 fit in a Crossman 357?
(not the most recent version that they switched to a couple years back, but the one before that)

In a 6 shot magazine from the old style, brown gripped 357....yes. Not a lot of room to spare, but it does fit. 
Have used the polymags in a 1701P @ <500fps on thirteen lined ground squirrels, sparrows and starlings to good effect...357 typically gets very close to 500fps with 7.9gr in the 8" barrel...should be an interesting combination provided the barrel likes them well enough.
