.177 AirForce Ultimate Condor
.177 AirForce Ultimate Condor
Have a friend that wants to sell me a barely used AirForce Ultimate .177 Condor with 2 pressure tanks, Airforce hand pump and a scuba tank and attachment. Has bipod and Airforce 6-24 x 40 scope(I believe) for $900. Shall I buy it? What do you think of them for ones that own one? CHEERS!

If you are having any doubts about the purchase....
He could always join CAF and list it in the Buy&Sell...
I'm sure it would be a good candidate for a quick sale.

If I had the money I would buy one. Why wouldn't you want one?

Great price and wheeliehd should probably buy it but it's definitely not my thing at any price. Aesthetics shouldn't matter but i just don't like how the air force line looks. Mind you I simply love feinwerkbau 800x which is very similar so you know my opinion is skewed.leadslinger wrote:If I had the money I would buy one. Why wouldn't you want one?

I like my condor very much. As long as you’ve got the space to shoot it you’ll be happy... before moving I could only shoot in my garage at 26ft so the condor was way overpowered and would blow through the targets I set up (sometimes going through the target and through two 1/2 plywood boards, burying pellets in the “just in case” backstop board tacked to the wall) This was on the lowest power setting. I bought the micrometer tank as an easy way of reducing the power for shorter range shooting (vs fiddling with valve and tophats) The micrometer tank worked but even with it and on low the condor still had enough power to damage indoor targets.
Just something to consider. And, it isn’t a quiet gun obviously, not as loud as my .22 rimfire, but on full power, not far off!

X2...if noise is a big factor don't bother getting it...even as good a deal as it isfishguy wrote: Just something to consider. And, it isn’t a quiet gun obviously, not as loud as my .22 rimfire, but on full power, not far off!

Noise is no biggie. Would only be used at a range. Not sure how much use I would get with it as I mainly only shoot inside my house. I have all my powder burners I barely ever shoot.
