And the unwanted consequence of this are constant stops at the can. Not sure if it's due to the added amount we drink or whether co2 bubbles tickle your bladder, but whatever the reason there's no denying you'll be making a lot more stops at the pissing hole.DocGadget wrote:I drink more water thanks to that machine.
It's so bad that depending on the day's demands I have to stay away from this machine. Wife used to mix a couple of these litre bottles and bring to work. Her demanding schedule doesn't allow for a trip to the little girls room every few minutes so she no longer brings it.
As for concerns with the gas' impurities, there's an endless amount of discussion about it. The consensus is that CO2 from a paintball store is clean and safe. You are unlikely to find the purer medical spec CO2 (supplied to hospitals) easily or affordably. But if you're truly paranoid you can make your own using dry ice and the small bottles that come with the machine. Although by the time you're done with the process it's bound to have some contaminants, not to mention a great deal of headache (plenty of youtube video on this, all messy and time consuming).
Stick to paintball stores for CO2 refills.
