skanzy showed a post of the air arms tx200. that is in my opinion the best springer out there. if it was in my budget right now i would be grabbing that deal right now. the tx200 will be my next rifle purchase but not in the cards right now. happy hunting. happy new year all

It's unfortunate that the 22 version of the airhawk is not sold in Canada or should I say that I am aware of. Hard to beat that overall value.

Just for the sheer power, ease of use and intended purpose, HW80 in 22, close to your pre tax budget as well. It does need some breaking in though, or there are plenty of kits available for tuning. Mine did buzz alot at first, some pellets not as much but still. It calmed down a lot at 1k shots and still improving (not that it was bad out of the box though, ding first shot).
