H & N Pellets

#1 Post by bobv »

I just received ,by Email , a price list from CCT ,for H&N pellets. I would like some info on these pellets, I imagine someone on this forum must have tried them in the past. I notice that in .177 cal , you can order 4.49mm 4.50mm & 4.51mm plus the other calibers .20 .22 .25 & round balls # 11. I'm pretty sure to order some .177 & .22 in the near future, to try in the Diana 48, 2240, QB & CH 2000
Any feed back would be appreciated

H&N pellets are good pellets, they also make pellets for Beeman. I find that they're expensive but nice and pretty clean.
.177 that works really good which is equivalent to H&N wadcutter is the Beeman colour RED. Try it out you'll be surprised with the result.

I use the H&N Field & Target Trophy in my .22 HW45 and they are very accurate. The FTT is also a very popular pellet in .177 caliber. In the USA it's sold as the Beeman FTS but prices are often higher in the USA.

I have also used the H&N Match Kugeln and Finale Match pellets. Nice pellets.

I have a H&N vs Beeman chart on my web site.

The H&N pellets are also sold by Illingworth Imports

Another pellet worth considering is the JSB.

Forget Illingworth...much better service from Jocelyn at Cibles. Excellent communication & Quick Shipping.

I guess I have been lucky with e-mails. I have had good responses from Illingworth, D&L Airgun, and also Jocelyn at CCT. I would not hesitate to buy from any of them. It's good to have this many serious airgun dealers in Canada. Our product selection has grown tremendously over the last 5-10 years. Something to be very thankful for.

Does anyone remember Hallum's? I never visited the place but apparently it was the airgun store in Canada prior to the current dealers.

Speaking of airgun dealers....is Airguns Canada still in business? Some of their images can still be found on MSN Airguns Canada.

I'll have to try e-mailing Roger MacKay to see what he is up to. He contacted me earlier in the year to say that his business was open again. I don't know what happened.

Message sent:

Hi Roger,

What happened to your web site? Are you still in business? Several people have been asking what happened.

Thanks,
Todd
