Hi Sniper,

I saw a post that you put up about your pictures of you werking on your newer #99, all torn apart, and all of the parts drying in Blk. Paint which looks fantastical. The thing is I can't find that post you put up, could you point me in the right direction to it :?:  Here's the thing, I've just acquired one myself. She shoots pretty Damned hard, and has had acouple of seals installed into her. But not the whole Seal Kit. I have the Original Shop Manual for this AirGun right from the Factory. Would it be alittle bit of a help if I put this up on the Web, so people would have access to this information :?:

And also, would you be able to give me any advice on how the best way to disasemble this AG is :?: Does the Receiver Plates just unscrew, and pull off of the one side :?: And I have an AutoBody Shop of my own, and I have a gallon of Acrilic Black Enamel that I was thinking of spraying it onto the Black parts, what do you think :?: O-yes and I realize that I am not going to need a gallon of paint for this... No big deal, I can afford to spare alittle bit of this paint, which might amount to 1/2 a pint, maybe

Any advice you could give me would be very appreciated, and thank's in advance :!: :)

Hi Mikey,

Sure that would be a good idea to post the shop manual, it may help
people who wants to restore a cr99.

To disassemble cr99, start from the rear stock which the screw in the
rear stock, the front stock, and then the receiver screws on the side , whatch for the barrel when taking it apart

Thank's Sniper,
It said that, but I wanted to hear it from you because you look like you know exactly what your doing. But what about the Acrilic Enamel Automotive Paint I might use ? What do you think about that ? And I forgot one thing, I went to Rona today and bought only 50-lb's bag of 49.9 Silica Sand to put into my SandBlaster, big one to blast off all of the crappy paint thats on it. Only the Lever and the Left side is pretty bad. The (R) side looks almost brand new. So I thought to do the whole thing eh ?

Hi Mikey,

Yes, sandblaster is good idea, I did that too. My friend at the body shop
paint it with car paint and bake it.

Hey Sniper,
Ok then, thats exactly what I'm going to do then. I've got lights too. I've got 6,000 Watt's of high heat lighting system set up, and I just went out and filled my big Propane tank-up full for the shop Furnace. I've also got a reverse suction fan system in the shop. So it filters the air coming in, and blows the over spray out the back vented Fan in the Wall. I got a good fair deal on this AG, and I also got the whole rebuild kit for it also.

I'm just Scanning those Shop Manuals from Coleman/Crosman, and tomorrow will be posting them up for everyone. It's not right that this type of information isn't up and "FREE" for everyone to look at if they need to. It shows, and explains disassembly to reassembly. I just wanted your advice, and I appreciate it from you...

Thank's,

Krazy Mikey... :)
