Any way to make a short smooth bore into a rifled one?

Probably a very silly question - but can you take a small, 4" smooth bore off an existing gun barrel and add rifled grooves to it...

This is a question that airgunnut1 from Salmon Arm, BC can answear as I recall he was making a barrel for the mark 1 style, if I'm not wrong.

is this for something like the PPK?

i dont think that a barrel is a good thing to change / modify - it would be better to order a barrel from another airgun and figure out how to attach it. for example, if its for the PPK, you could posible order a barrel from crosman 357 pistol, the good thing is that they come in 4,6 and 8" lengths. the should be propper diameter/thickness.
