2289 sniper project finished. (pics)

Just wanted a reliable hard hitter for some of the night time critters around here. RJ breech, re-crowned barrel, transfer port, pump and valve work, bug buster and a moderator.

Nice 2289. I'm in the middle of modding my 1377c. I'm just waiting for a 1760 barrel which should come friday and also a 2200 piston which will come in a few weeks because Crosman Canada didn't have any in stock. the metal breech I will be making myself. What velocity are you getting at full pumps? Also how many pumps are you getting out of it?

I dont know why the pics wont work for some........?

I have it set up for 10 pumps for crosman wadcutters, and 15 for beeman kodiaks (my two pellets of choice) for the same P.O.I. It will dump 30 pumps, but the increase in power isn't worth the work. At 10 pumps with the crosmans, it will punch through a 3/4" piece of pine.

Yup. It's a 4X32 A/O with red/green illuminated recticle. They call it a Bug Buster because the paralax adjusts down to 3 yds. Perfect for shooting grasshopers!
