one mans garbage----------------.

#1 Post by pete »

i saw the guy down the street put these racks out to the curb. so i raced down with the car and grabbed them. i,m not sure if they were clothes racks or collectible figurine display racks. so i got a sheet of plywood-- made shelves-- and fantastic. i had old shot up wooden shelves before. these hold a lot more targets. and easier to clean up bbs and pellets. from the back targets to where i stand at the door i,ve got 20 feet. targets are all painted nice and bright and ready to go. double click for bigger pic.

Nice re-purposing. I'm amazed by the good stuff people throw out and/or give away.

Well done, Pete.
We usually have stuff we put out at the curb with FREE sign, usually goes within an hour. I put out 4 steel boat anchors, worth about $25.00+
each, but they didn't go away sitting there for a week.
Best Wishes
Daryl

we have a few scrappers in our area. so as soon as somebody throws something out with a little bit of metal in it they appear out of no where. i was sitting on the front porch when i saw the guy bring these out. so i figured i better get there fast. my little shootin gallery looks a lot neater now.
