my latest resetting target.

#1 Post by pete »

well you guys got my creative juices flowing with your target challenges. so i came up with this one. shoot through the hole(1/2") dia. hit the target. (it,s held up by a magnet) it goes down. and hit it again and it resets up to the magnet.top 2 pics are looking at it from the back-- bottom pic is from the front. double click for bigger.works great.

Awesome, looks like fun. 2 questions:
1. where are the magnets?
2. how much fpe are you shooting with to get it to return?
OK, 3 questions...
3. did you draw those cracks on your block wall mortar?

hey duke. look at the second pic from the top. i have a magnet embedded in the piece of wood. not sure how many fpe with the guns. when i first tested it with my beeman p17-- the target wouldn,t go back up - it was to heavy and just flopped back and forth. so i grinded it a bit smaller and lighter. then i tried it with my weakest gun-a (daisy red ryder.) now it works. if it goes up with that gun--i know my other guns will work. i haven,t had time to fully test it yet. and yep i drew the wall cracks in with just a black magic marker.

thanks cbs-- most of my creations work great. some not so. this one is good but sometimes just goes up and bounces right back down without sticking to the magnet. i,ve got some tweaking to do on it. let me know how you make out if you make one. have fun and good luck.
