My newly aquired toy

#1 Post by ancorp »

First of all - thank you to Mr. Marvin - the Air Gun Guy ;)
Picked this up at the Pickering gun show a couple weeks ago.

Presenting the Daisy Powerline 400 Gas Blowback Pistol, replicating a .357 IMI Desert Eagle.

This thing has some nice kick for an air gun! Anyone into gas blowback should definately pick this baby up!

Thanks ;)
The blowback is great, love the kick and sound :D
The fps is rated at 420fps, 20 BB magazine. Shoots pretty hard!

If anyone wants any more pics of it, let me know!

Cheers,
Alex

Thanks!
I will be looking for other blow backs as well (except the PPK, 250fps is alittle too low).... perhaps some sort of Beretta.

Cheers,
Alex

Does the slide lock back after the last shot? What parts are metal?

Nope, unfourtinately the slide doesnt lock after the last shot, although I think it does stop firing once its empty... only had 2 powerlets to test it, gotta head out to Walmart for more :)

Externally, the metal parts are the safety, hammer and trigger.

Oh and yes, its damn fun, the recoil/blowback is great ;)

Alex

Hi.

Just curious. How many BB's does a CO2 cylinder fire?

Hey Wolf,
Well Im getting somewhere between 50-70 shots with the blowback cocking the hammer, after that the slide doesnt move back far enough, so you have to recock it.
After some quick shooting, the powerlet becomes cold as ice! Keep it warm, and you well get plenty of shots ;)

Cheers,
Alex
