FX Dreamline POWER Classic

I got a FX Dreamline, walnut stock .25 cal. from airgunsource not too long ago. Compared to other FX guns this model has less power. Other model FX guns have a VP or sniper edition, this model usually has a larger plenum and longer barrel. The Dreamline does have a Power Pup model, it has a 700mm barrel and 80cc plenum but in a bullpup stock that I have not seen here in Canada. I decided that I am going to make a Power Classic, although I never seen this model for sale. The plan is to take my Dreamline Classic and mod it for maximum power to make a Power Classic just like FX did to the Dream Pup to make it the Power Pup.

I like the walnut stock but it is not adjustable, I was lucky enough to get the last GRS stock at airgunsource. The stock is full adjustable and has a UIT or anschutz rail on the bottom, I plan to shoot this gun off a tripod.

The .25 cal. Dreamline comes with a Super Lite 600mm barrel system. I bought a .25 cal. 700mm Impact barrel system to replace it. I have the carbon fiber liner sleeve to replace the o- rings, I also have a 20x14mm carbon fiber shroud to replace the thin aluminum shroud and now I can add tension to the barrel. I am going to put an air stripper or tuning weight on the barrel.

FX Wildcat MKII 2.5" plenum. This plenum also fits the Dreamline and is larger then the 17cc Dreamline power plenum. I think this plenum is around 38cc and the gun has an estimated plenum of 30cc so the gun will have around 68cc total plenum. My goal is 68 FPE with all the mods and ten shots. I have two of these plenums but only plan to use one. If I can not reach my goal then I can reconfigure the gun with two 2.5" plenums and try again.

I have a Huma reg, 30cc plenum and 10cc plenum that I may use depending on how the tuning goes.

I bought all those parts from Huma Air and 910 airguns

The brass transfer port is what I am talking about, not the adjustable wheel

The V2 transferport is slightly larger than the stock FX.

Added the 2.5" plenum, stronger hammer spring, heavier hammer ( middle weight) V2 transfer port, pin probe, carbon fibre liner sleeve and 700mm barrel with superior liner. I still have to cut the carbon fiber tension shroud but it is going to be close, the tube extends farther than I anticipated . If it does not work then I will have to remove the FX reg. and install the Huma reg. I would gain a bit of plenum but loose air in my reservoir and also loose the abiliy to adjust the reg. externally.

It worked!!!! Carbon fibre tension shroud installed, decided to go with the air stripper and try the FX barrel tuner weight later on. Aslo left the barrel band off for now to see if the tension barrel system is enough to prevent POI shift. I am going to trim a few millimeters from the air stripper so it is flush with the shroud OD. The gun is now 1200mm or 47 1/4" inches long. Lol
