Did my Slavia mods
Got my spring in the mail Monday and finally got around to doing the mods yesterday and I have to say, it was well worth it. After the disassembly I polished the piston, honed the receiver, had to polish up the spring guide because the new spring was slightly tighter than the factory spring, so no room for shrink tubing. Assembly was MUCH more difficult than disassembly because the new spring was quite a bit longer and stronger.
I tried the bed liner paint for the stock, it is AWESOME, but definitely do this in a well ventilated area. This stuff stinks. The whole package looks incredible.
Now for the important stuff. I haven't done the sound chrono yet, BUT, i had shot into a telephone book before and after the mods. The wadcutter i was using went in only about another 12 pages but the hole was way more pronounced and clean. You can definitely feel the power increase. I can tell by the sound from 20 metres that it is reaching the target much quicker.
Overall, very happy.

I got the spring off of Gunbroker.com. Apparently, the company that makes the springs has now gone into receivership, so the guy I got them from said"when their gone, their gone".
I will have to check on the page number in the phone book it went to. Do you want the number it went clean through, or the page number it deformed the pages to?
