List all the guns made in Canada!

#1 Post by webstien »

I thought this would be a cool idea for a thread... I'd love to know all the airguns that were built in this great country!

Also, If you have some history on the gun i'd love to hear it.

I'll start us off:

I'm gonna call BS on this one - I have been collecting for over 30 years, and been to shows in both Canada and the US, and have never seen nor heard of an "Acro 2" until I read this post. Even the Holy Grail of airgun collecting - the Schimel AP-22 multi pump pneumatic - is documented in advertising form in old catalogs, even though a specimen of the actual gun has never surfaced.

A truly Canadian innovation - the Crosman "Canadian Boy

The Dunnville plant was responsible for creating the predecessor to the first model 760 short-stroke multi pump pneumatic rifle. It was actually based on the model 130 pistol action, with an extended barrel, mounted to a small rifle stock, and dubbed the "Canadian Boy".
Not wanting to be upstaged by the Canadian plant, designers at Crosman USA took the basic concept, and came up with the 760.

That is really shabby information upon which to base a statement such as this:
