Check Amazon first, and some times Kijiji and Gunpost.ca see if you got good bulk deal. I also ordered a lot from USA (Pyramydair have buy 4 get 1 free), while on sale it turns much cheaper compare to here, you can choose ship to your home or pickup somewhere you visit and bring back

Cibles (targets.ca). They have a ebay store. Or if you are in the Gatineau (in Hull) area you may be able to arrange local pickup. Highly recommended.
I have some airguns.

Yeah, purchasing two tins is expensive. When it comes to ammo, for years now my minimum is a thousand. Thousand rounds goes fast! LOL

LOL~ for pellets, usually a thousand is 2 tins right?! :)

Last time when I visited AGS, I bought 2 tins of the 22cal Hades, 500 counts/tin, costed me 60$... Plus tax... However I saved the shipping but round trip to the shop is 250kms...

I doubt you will find a tin of 500 in .25? I could be wrong but usually only 150 or 200 per tin?

When I buy pellets I buy 10 or 20 tins to justify the shipping costs. Combining orders with friends also helps defray costs. A Canada Post small flat rate box (max 5kg) is $22.50. Shipping adds up real quick these days.

No no no... No 500/tin 25 cal for sure... Later even the 22 cal won't have the 500/tin I doubt...

To me not just about the gasoline cost, but the drive time concerns too... 4 hours driving I don't think I will drive there to pickup some pellets then drive another4 hrs to come home...

The 100km (or an hour) might be the most I could go... However I doubt I will if just for buying some pellets...

Since I'm only an hour drive from AGS, I buy all my pellets from them. When I make the trip up there, I buy 10 tins in order to capitalize on the discount of $3-4 off on each tin of 500 in 22 cal. Last week I bought 10 tins of the Hades and Jumbo Heavies. Gas going there and back round out to about $18.00 in my small car. Shipping cost would have been around $30 to $35.
I use to buy certain pellets(H&N Excite Hammer, .177, 500 ct @$11.00) from Amazon, but stopped because of the way they would ship the tins with no bubble wrap or foam to cushion impact during the shipping process. There were times I would buy those pellets at a good price, but they would arrive with 20-30 percent of them with crushed/deformed skirts from the shipping process. They just throw the tins into an Amazon bag and away they go onto the trucks. These bags get thrown around during the destination process as I am well aware from my experience working in the courier industry in the 90s.

ya 4 hours drives way to much an hour ya 20$ shipping is crazy too but what ever prolly only shoot a few mags any way in a session so 700 pellets would last a few months easy...to bad the store on the forums sold out of .25 i think they got the best prices out of n e were for pellets.

I usually buy pellets a sleeve or two at a time. I usually have 50 or 60 tins on hand., you never know when supply will be short.
The cost is pretty much the same to ship 2 tins as it is to ship 2 sleeves.
I've had good experiences with the airgun forum store. The pellets are very competitively priced, tax is included in the listed prices.
I bought 20 tins of H&N match from Cibles a few weeks ago. I've got nothing but praise for their shipping speed and customer service.
Air gun source AGS had fast shipping and reasonable prices as well.
I usually buy JSB exact Diablo in .25 as they come in the bigger tin of 350.
Shipping any pellets from the USA is cost prohibitive by the time you pay duty and brokerage.
