After taking my kids to the Rememberance day ceremonies I have to go in to work for a few hours of paperwork.

Some of that paperwork will involve punching holes in paper.

And some of it will involve punching holes in those nasty pesky little sparrows.

Gotta see how the new scope works. . . flippin thing weighs almost as much as my 2240. . .

Nice job on your 2240, the 4x32 scope on it looks big.
Is the 2240 much quieter with the longer barrel :?:

I think I'm ok on that one. Same catagory as Skunks and Coyotes and they seem to be fair game. Thanks for the info though.

Yes the 2240 is quieter (and higher velocity) with the 2289 barrel (but its still pretty darned loud).
