I don't know much about this new-to-me rifle, but am loving it so far. It has a 2X or 2.5X Weaver on it now. I also have spares in a Bushnell 4X with mil dots or a 3x9 plex reticle that could go on. Since this is pretty much a short range hunting rifle, perhaps the straight 4X with mil dots would work best. Time will tell. Twin tube, and think it's good for about ...

Post subject: Weihrauch M97KT in .22 P.A.L. Pellet Testing Posted: Sat Jan 07, 2023 9:26 pm |

Tested a few different pellets this time, all at 10 yards in my basement. I was quite surprised at the results which show difference at this close range. The poorer performers were JSB PolyMag 16gr. standard and 15.89gr. shorts as well as FX Hybrids @ 22gr. and second best were H&H Barracuda Hunters. The best performers at this close range were H&H Barracuda Hunter Extremes at 19.09gr. Targets shot resting the forend on the toweled ...

Post subject: FX Dreamline .22 Cal FT Tuning Posted: Sat Dec 31, 2022 4:59 am |

Thanks to AGS, I receved my new .22 cal FX Dreamline Classic in walnut stock yesterday. Fisrst impression is you get what you pay for as always. The fit and finish, mechanical fittness is amongst the best I ever experienced in an airgun. It felt like a finely built Swiss watch. I am a target shooter, as such I like to shoot single shot, not with the rediculously high 18 round factry mag. Frankly, I ...

Post subject: Tasco TAR432 scope (perfect for WF-600) Posted: Mon Dec 26, 2022 12:54 am |

I picked up a Tasco TAR432 airgun scope at a crazy good deal from Dominion Outdoors in Winkler Manitoba. It arrived on Dec 24th and turned out to be better than expected. The scope came with a set of scope caps and 11mm mounts with an adjustable recoil pin and double screw clamps. The TAR432 also has:
Adjustable objective marked from 7.5 to 100 yards Fast-focus eyepiece Metal turret caps Metal turret dials with positive ...

I would like to do a review of this rifle. I've owned it for, I'm guessing, 11 years now. I've used it for shooting gophers out to 56 yards and have spoken of that here, prior to this point in time. While I would like to do a review on this rifle, I've just watched a review done by Steve, (AEAC) & I cannot possibly add anything to what he says so well and eloquently. ...

Just received a Beeman AR2079A with 190cc HPA bottle in .177 from AirGunArcheryFun. Thanks Wes. This is a sweet little plinker to add to the stable. To anyone thinking of getting one of these I would highly recommend it. Amazing shot count (haven't done an official count yet but so many I lost count) with a 3000 psi fill. Really like the diopter sight. Looks like he only has a few left online. Get one ...

I was going to get the UMAREX MP40 but no one in Canada had any in stock. So I opted for the UMAREX M1A1. I think it was a good decision although I’m still interested in the MP40 sometime in the future. I think I’d like to have both. See the attached photos. One is a print out of the Chrono test I did with my AceTech AC6000BT. The very first shot I believe was ...

Post subject: Artimas Stormrider .25 dressed in Buck-Rail Posted: Sun Dec 11, 2022 11:29 am |

I purchased from Wes one of his built up Artimas stormys in .25 cal at the same time I ordered the Buck- Rail 3 component printed stock. The gun came assembled with components attached as I took pellets in lieu of receiving the wooden stock. I added to the gun my end cap and shot 4 tanks, I realized that the internal Lane reg was not working. This gun doesn't have the original down facing ...

Post subject: Fenix and Fenix LT Posted: Mon Nov 28, 2022 10:08 pm |

I’m doing a quick review of my Cometa Fenix rifles, I see that a couple of Fenix LT are available at AirCollector.
I got the first Fenix about a year ago. I got it lightly used with a .177 barrel but it’s actually a .22 rifle. It took some effort to sort it. It’s become a favourite and accurate shooter.
I got the Fenix LT just some weeks ago, as a .22.
Ok, what’s different ...
