I just got a hold of a leupold VX-3 6.5-20x40 and it is the best purchase i have made in a while. I got a good deal on it on ebay. It is the only scope where i can trust the clicks. It is the only scope that has allowed me to shoot consistently within 1/2" at 35 yards with my springer (as long as i follow through). I am getting an "A-Team" turret where ...

Post subject: Discovery VS Hammerli Pneuma Posted: Tue May 24, 2011 1:42 am |

This is a head to head comparison of my Benjamin Discovery .22 vs my newly acquired Hammerli Pneuma .22. I used the same Scope, a 5-15X40 Legend, for all the tests. The Pneuma is about 2lbs heavier, and is over all physically larger. With the pistol grip thumb hole stock the Pneuma is, IMO, the more comfortable of the two. I was not happy with the Disco trigger, but I've polished up the surfaces that ...

Post subject: STI Duty One 1911 Blowback Pistol Posted: Sun May 22, 2011 2:15 pm |

I have been waiting for a 1911 blowback for some time and now if all goes according to plan, I'll have two in the span of a week. The first is this STI Duty One that I picked up from MrMarvin yesterday. The second, which is supposed to arrive on Friday is the new Tanfoglio Witness 1911A1 blowback which I will also review once I get my hands on it. This pistol is extremely ...

Post subject: Tactical AK 47 BB Posted: Fri May 13, 2011 8:17 am |

Review of Chi-com AK 47 tactical BB gun. Overall fit and finish is poor, typical of military grade Chinese guns. Norinco export Ak 47’s have better wood than this. As there are no markings, I have to assume they are made by one or more of the companies that make up the PLA military complex. Normally, each factory has its own markings to identify who made them. It is strange that they have not ...

This is a bargain basement pistol that I purchased from MrMarvin just for fun. I figured it would make a fun little plinker and I was not disappointed. It is definitely worth the $89 that I paid for it. It is all plastic, however, it has a fairly hefty feel to it. It is comfortable to hold and to shoot. The fully detachable magazine holds both the BBs (about 20) as well as the CO2 ...

Post subject: Review: CZ-75 P-07 Duty Posted: Thu May 12, 2011 7:40 pm |

I just bought this gun from MrMarvin today after seeing a video about it on YouTube (Replica Airguns channel). I must say that I am even more impressed with it than I expected. It's one of the rare pistols that MrMarvin has imported and it was worth every penny of the $199 that I paid for it. The gun is very high quality and very well made. Like the real thing, it features a ...

I have nothing good to say about this pistol. It will fire off by itself, interior parts are all made of soft metal and badly made period. I do not recommend this to anyone. Someone will get hurt by this pistol...I see a lawsuit happening.

Post subject: Valtro Airgun92 Posted: Sat May 07, 2011 2:14 pm |

I am new to this very interesting forum but not new to air gunning. I've been an air gun collector for a number of years. Now my impression with the Valtro Airgun92 which I received on Friday May 6. I paid $188 including tax and shipping. Good things: good quality plastic (most likely nylon reinforced with glass fibers), large grips for guys with large hands (that's me), easy operation, very good muzzle velocity around 380-410 ...

I recently purchased a Leapers 3-9 x 32 AO scope for my B-26 and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with what you get for $75.... I have a Leapers 3-9 x 40 AO and it's proven to be a tough, troublefree scope, even standing up to my B-28... but it's a bit on the heavy side for my lightweight B-26 and I have no need for the illuminated reticle, which I find to ...

Post subject: Umarex Walther PPQ Posted: Wed May 04, 2011 1:24 pm |

I just picked up the new Umarex Walther PPQ. From what I can see it is just a Walther CPSport with a few cosmetic changes. They are both very close (almost identical) in size, weight, feel, etc. Even the trigger pull feels the same, leading me to suspect the insides are the same. One difference, the magazine release is just molded on the PPQ, whereas on the CPS it is functional. Couple of ...
