Post subject: DIY front offset bipod (wood) Posted: Fri Oct 29, 2021 1:06 pm |

I watched a review a couple of months ago, I was intrigued with the bipod being offset forward more than a standard diagonal pod. I put this together this morning out of oak dowel to test the concept, before buying aluminum Attachment: parts.jpg The concept works and it is very rigid for being made of wood. I wouldn't hesitate to use with any gun that I didn't need to take on the road. ...

I happened across this and picked it up yesterday at a warehouse that sells food processing equipment in Toronto. Attachment: Pump.jpg There was a language barrier between me and all the employees so can't say much other than this may have been the last one. Paid $300 plus tax, no auto stop, and intermediate water separator between stage 1 and 2. filled my 280cc gun from 1200 to 2900 in less than 2 ...

Post subject: MP46M out of box Posted: Mon Oct 25, 2021 11:14 pm |

Just tried to tune my new MP46M "from the box". I think it was OK in lateral dimensions, I mean right-left. Just pellets were going too high. Made many clicks down and got into "five" at 6 O'clock. Next clicks up got me into 7,8,9 and finally 10. No bench rest, just according ISSF rule "supported rest", but pretty unstable support )) I was greatly impressed how accurate the pistol is. Actually it looks like ...

Post subject: New walnut grips for MP657 air-pistol Posted: Wed Oct 27, 2021 4:47 am |

Just received new asiatic walnut grips for my pistol. Hand work from master Tamerlan from Tatarstan. Tamerlan always add some artistic fantasy to his works. Probably it is not necessary for shooting, but it give some creative inspiration and it is very important in our life )) Tamerlan puts his own Master's brand stamp on his grips.

Fantastic. Attachment: IMG_20211025_112841 (Large).jpg I picked the gun up on Friday from a 3rd party warehouse, I opened it at the shop and lost the pellets that were sent with it. There was a small amount of air in the gun so when I got home I sent 20 pellets of 20 gr through it. Thinking that the gauge read 600 psi but in reality 60 bar I was amazed to see ...

Post subject: Russian sport air-pistol MP651 K-23 Posted: Fri Oct 22, 2021 9:46 am |

This pistol was produced in very small amount and was designed for beginner sportsmen. Actually many young sportsmen were able to make 545/600 with no problems and some of them 565/600. This was done on local competitions. On foto target that shot 60 y/o russian coach Sergei Barmin. Later on basis of this pistol MR657 was developed. The pistol cost about US$ 150. I am happy owner of MP657, just want to change the plastic ...

Can somebody share personal experinces with Gamo Compact? Funny that one guy won Spain Championate with this pistol. It is the same category as FAS 6004, but cheaper and probably more robust. Plus very heavy trigger

Post subject: FAS 6004 Posted: Wed Oct 20, 2021 3:57 pm |

Not posted in here for ages but having spotted this post i will chime in The FAS 6004 is capable of exactly the same performance as other guns of its type (Typically 400 fps plus territory) but badly breeched sealed. Its a very easy fix if you read my posts on Target Talk and restores a goodly 30fps to 50 fps (gun dependent) once tackled correctly.
Should you have to do it to a gun ...
