This little chrony is so user friendly, just enter the weight of the pellet line up the barell holder, or remove it for pistols, and fire through the port, instant reading. I was kind of skeptical at first and now after trying it i love it, great purchase.

Post subject: crosman 2289 g Posted: Fri Feb 13, 2009 6:23 pm |

I recently bought a crosman 2289 g which claims to be somewhere around 475fps out of the box in 10 pumps. I was sighting it in this week and place a target on cardboard box about 20 yards away. After sighting it in I had a good look at the box and noticed that a few of the pellets didn’t penetrate through the other side of the box. This got my worried, out came the ...

Post subject: Charlie da Tuna GRT-III trigger Posted: Tue Feb 10, 2009 9:19 am |

I bought a GRT-III trigger from Wade7575 and installed the trigger yesterday for my Crosman Phantom. The GRT is a drop in replacement trigger blade that changes the feel of the stock trigger, which feels somewhat vague from the factory.
Installation Installation was a breeze and took under 10 minutes. According to the manufacturer, some grinding may be necessary on some of the Chinese made guns due to varying tolerances, but mine fit in perfectly ...

This was written as part of my thread on my 1750, but I thought it also deserved a place here.... if you want even more information, check out the original thread: http://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=25502I have always wondered just how much effect temperature had on CO2 performance.... and how the Dual Power Hammer might be tuned to eliminate or reduce this effect.... During the testing so far, I have learned just how drastic the effect of continuous ...

Post subject: Daisy .22 Wadcutters - Junk? Posted: Wed Jan 21, 2009 1:07 pm |

I purchased a Crosman Phantom 500 today at my local WalMart (yes, for shame, but it was cheaper there than at Canadian Tire) and had an obvious need for .22 pellets, of which they only had in stock 500-count tins of Daisy 'Precision Max' Wadcutters.
Previously I have fired only Crosman's basic, pointed pellets, in .177 and .22 and so I only have them as a point of reference. The first thing I noticed when ...

Powerline 5501 review
- Plastic slide with white dot on the front blade
- No open port on the slide just like the old cp99 compact.
- The frame, trigger, barrel, hammer (under the slide), the safety, de-coking lever and piercing knob are metal.
- The magazine release, side grips and magazine are plastic. Also the magazine is very cheap and will break very easily. If you drop it, your screwed.
- The magazine comes ...

Ok i finally got my first blowback pistol: the cp99 compact with 2 extra mags
First reaction wow nice and heavy, and not flimsy its really nice looking and comfortable.
Loading mags and co2 Mags slide nicely but because it has magnet tip they sometimes touch against the open slot making it a little rough to slide in. But no biggie, remember these mags are all metal and solid. Manual says it holds 17 but ...

Just bought this from walmart comes with a nice scope(not cheap),
all wood solid, nice wheight with the fiber optic sights shoots very accurate, after sighting in the scope still very accurate, i was using RWS Diablo Basic (green tin), the only part that could be better would be a metal trigger, but the trigger seems sturdy anyways.
I would recomend this one :D
and if ...
