Allrighty!!Here's the story.Christmas 1976 my dad gave me my 760,after 3yrs of untold amounts of pumping and bb's and pellets the gun was boxed in the storage shed. Now,time travel 27yrs later and you have a dried out gun with light rust on the barrel that won't hold air anymore. What i wanted to know, does anyone have any good ideas for this rifle?Since it was made in the mid 70's,it probably is a full power rifle.I would ...

Post subject: Importing from the USA Posted: Mon Jun 26, 2006 3:14 pm |

Has anyone successfully imported a PAL gun from the USA at the border? I'm told that you simply declare it, they register it on the spot, you pay your sales tax and drive (non-restricted firearms).
I'd call CFC first, but is it really that easy? Prices on airguns in Canada are stupidly high, especially with a 90cent dollar.

Gurr, Every 100 shots or so, I notice that my 2289 is losing power. (Like droping 12" in 10 yards) I take it apart and every time the rear half or my valve has rotated so that the port dosent line up, thus the loss or power.
Why on earth is it doing this? It's so annoying because every time I have to take off my scope and then have to re-sight it in ...

Post subject: Custom Drozd (no batteries) Posted: Sun Jun 25, 2006 9:00 pm |

I am planing on making a custom Drozd that doesn't need batteries. It uses a elastic and some machined parts as a firing mechanism instead of the solenoid.
As you can see in the picture when the trigger is pulled (fig. A) it releases the cocking bolt (fig. B) that is pulled back by a stretched slingshot elastic (fig. C) thus moving the firing bolt back (fig. D) until the firing bolt slips out ...
