Do airgun dealers check the guns for leaks before shipping. I would like to get an entry level PCP like the Beeman Chief .22 but have been reading about these particular guns leaking from the get go.....

I stopped by on Saturday. There was someone selling a Ruger 10/22 replica air gun for $450. It was new in box however.
There were a few used air guns but were they were selling for more than new.
I didn't buy a thing. Prices just seem insane.

Saw a couple of YouTube vids from guys who moved from springers to PCP's and they said it gets boring plinking with PCP's because you never miss. I can relate to that because I have to shoot farther out with my springers because it's just not fun plinking at 20 or 30 yards and hitting targets with no effort at all.
