Post subject: Gamo Varmint broken between trigger mechanism and the spring Posted: Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:37 am |

Hello Canadian Airgun Forum members,
I need help. I have a Gamo Varmint. Recently it stopped cocking. I took it apart to find a broken part located between the trigger mechanism and the main spring/coil. It is a plastic pipe: 1 inch long, outside diameter ¾ inch, inside diameter ½ inch. See attached pictures (I have more if useful). It looks like it shattered. Two questions: - how can that piece be shattered like that ...

Post subject: Target practice in Cambridge Posted: Sat Mar 30, 2024 8:39 am |

Welp, the "legitimate" side of airguns is totally new to me. I'm talking about the competitions with endless abbreviations, official targets, courses, practices and challenges. Is there anywhere I can learn about all this?
Does anyone have a spot people go to and not get bothered? So far I've only ever done the good ol' target practice. I'm fortunate enough for the time being to have a massive warehouse in Cambridge for practice at long ...

Had my prize Weihrauch 35E out today. Slipped on some greasy mud falling on my side and busting the stock right in half at the grip. Looking for a used stock for it. The walnut stock didnt have a mark on it even though the gun is 20 years old! I almost cried!

Not a brand new member but one that has not been active here for about 10 years give or take. Since my last post back in 2014 I have been thru a divorce, retired early from my job, made the move from Ontario to Nova Scotia... Started pulling out my airgun collection and have started plinking in the basement. I have been amazed at how good the seals have held up over the years, but ...

Post subject: Chinese Underlever Posted: Thu Mar 28, 2024 5:34 pm |

Picked up this very old Chinese Underlever for $10.00 because the guy said it wouldn't "catch" and hold the tension. I figured it's probably the sear worn out but instead a guide washer for the piston rod came off causing the rod and piston to slightly tilt so the sear couldn't catch it. I made sure it wouldn't come off again.Never seen so much dried ,caked grease in an airgun before...Spring still in great shape ...

Does anyone have a Weihrauch underlever that they would be willing to let go of for a reasonable price? 97, 77 or 57?
