Just posting these numbers if anyone is wondering what the shot count and FPS is of a non pal Artemis PP700. I had a leak bewteen the transfer port and barrel so I fixed it with the help of Wesb2007. I decided to shoot the gun from 220 bar down to 70 bar because that is the green area on the fill guage. The gun has a 67.5cc air capacity. I was very surprised on the consistancy and shot count. I did not shoot the gun over the chrony before the leak but I wish I did to compare. I filled the gun to 220 BAR or 3200 PSI and took three shots to make sure I was sighted in, I am shooting ten meters from the chrony.

JSB .22 cal. Exact Jumbo RS 13.43gr

Distance from the muzzle to chrony is 10 meters or 33 feet.

At 10 meters it is pellet on pellet.

Really nice shots and same the pistol ~

What did you use to fill the gun? Handpump or electric pump or air tanks? Will this factors affect the result?

I use a hand pump, it does not matter how you fill it. It is the balance between the hammer spring, regulator and transfer port that gave me this shot count.... if you have this gun I would see if you are getting any air leaking from the barrel o-ring and transfer port block, mine came very loose from the factory and needed tightening, this really made a difference in the guns efficiency after I tightened the valve. Here is a thread I started about the issue....topic83188.html I suspect other PP700 owners have the same issue, I read about it on other forums.

Wow! That’s s very impressive shot string Skanzy! At ten meters, according to ChairGun and the pellet weight you quoted, some of those numbers have your velocity at muzzle very close to the max! Just received a brand spankin’ new 700 from Wes myself - now this’s a pistol even Dirty Harry would be proud of! Looking forward to running a few tests of my own with the new FX Pocket Radar Chronograph scheduled to arrive mid week. Will keep you posted!

Yes- very impressive. At 10 meters, I found myself shooting my PP700S-A into the green a few shots before
an elevation change had me check the pressure & re-fill.
This is a VERY impressive piece of machinery, imho.

Wow that shot to shot spread is hard to believe. I spent so much time on my .22 Brocock and it ever came close to that. Before I think about buying one can anyone share how fun it is ? That's always a buying signal for me.
Thanks ,

I think this gun is one of the best bargains for a PCP, best bang for your buck. I did need to tune it a bit when receiving it but it has turned out to be a very impressive gun. I was surprised, I thought it was going to be like other Chinese air rifles but it is not. I got a weaver rail from Wesb2007 https://airgunarcheryfun.ca and I had a Hatsan Air stripper. laying around. I took the afternoon yesterday and tested the air stripper with the cone at different distances. It is one hole at 25 yards, three shots.

Nice shooting! Those 700's look very nicely made. I am hoping someday for a pp750:)
What was the cone distance from the muzzle?
